Forex Options Can Earn You $7,000 Plus Weekly

By Richard Tyrell

Forex Options is a derivative of the Forex Market. In the Forex Market you are actually trading currencies. With Forex Options you do not trade the currencies at all in the traditional way. Some traders who are quite advanced in their ability prefer to use Options trading. This type of trading limits risk and gives some opportunities to increase profits.

The two main types of options used by Forex traders are the call/put option and the SPOT option. When a trader buys the first type of option he buys both the call and the put side of the contract. An example might be that a trader (A) decides to buy two lots of YEN/USD at .0091 in four weeks. If at the end of four weeks the price has dropped to .0090 the option expires worthless and trader (A) loses only the premium (.0001 multiplied by the amount of money he invested originally). If he had invested say 10,000 then he would lose only $1. If on the other hand the price rose to .01090 then trader (A) can buy two lots (20,000 worth) of the stock at .0090 and sell them on the open market for .0099. This transaction could nett trader (A) 200 profit.

The SPOT or Single Payment Option Trade is very like the call/put option but it automatically converts your successful trade to cash so that you don't have to go to the bother of selling the currencies yourself. The only downside to SPOT trading is that it costs you more as the broker's charges are higher.

There are numerous types of SPOT trading but if you want to find out more just search around the net and there is plenty of information.

However I would not advise a beginner to go into this area of business. My advice to all beginners is purchase an automated system so that you commit and focus, learn the ropes from your support team who are there 24 hours a day, do simulated trading or demo trading for a couple of weeks and finally when you do start trading start small. Do not use leverage until you are very competent. Then in the course of time you might consider Forex Options.

Forex Charts If Used Correctly Can Help You to Make $7,000 Plus Weekly

By Richard Tyrell

The use of Forex Charts is confined mainly to hands-on traders who do all the work themselves for the duration of the working week/month/year. This entails sitting in front of your PC for long stretches at a time and studying the charts. There are line charts, bar charts, pie charts etc.

The charts show Forex trading trend patterns and come in different shapes and sizes. One of the most popular is the candlestick chart (a sophisticated bar chart) which gives a lot of information to the trader.

Candlestick carries HIGH, LOW, OPEN, CLOSE for the price and possess a BODY. The color and size of the body supply traders with additional price details.

As we said traders who use charts are experienced traders who trade manually. For the beginner and part time trader Forex automated systems are the best options.

Such a system detects good trends, confirms them using internal indicators and opens the trades to take maximum profit for you and closes it if reaching takeprofit limit when the trade is successful. If the trade is losing the trade is closed by the system using signals on its internal indicators.

Simple systems using support indicators, resistance indicators and a few momentum indicators are all that's needed to succeed in Forex trading. Remember you make money by being right in Forex trading and how can you compete with a robot?

For any beginners though this is my advice - buy an automated system and learn the ropes from your support team, do paper trading or demo trading for a couple of weeks and start small. Do not use leverage until you are very proficient and forget about Forex Charts.

Forex Trading, What You Need to Know

By Miodrag Trajkovic

Before, forex trading was just something that banks and financial institutions did but because of the internet age and the use of the world wide web for financial transactions. People have engaged in forex trading all over the world. In such a short time, the trade has become one of the biggest investment businesses in the world, having a total global transaction of 1 trillion dollars a day! That is really a serious amount and quite a feat for something that not many people actually know about.

Forex trading, to those who do not know the industry yet, is the buying and selling of foreign currencies with the intent to profit. Profit occurs when the dollar is bought at a lower price than when it is sold. But like most investment options, forex trading isn't always on the upside. The prices of foreign currencies can go up and down depending on certain market conditions. In fact, the currencies are very volatile products, gaining points and depreciating several times in one day. People who know how to play the game by capitalizing on these market behaviors. They buy and sell several times a day and rake in the profits made at the end of each day. This of course should involve a lot of money because the increase and decrease in value of every currency is in small increments, specifically in cents and it is rare to find a large increase within a day.

Still despite the fluctuations every day, experts advise people who deal in forex trading to keep their currencies and think of the long term. There will be times when the currency will depreciate but when you have the patience to hold on to it, you can actually rake in more money. That is actually the essence of investing in currencies. One must however only invest money that is disposable. This means that you only invest your extra money and nothing more. Otherwise, the risk will be higher for you and the money game will be a little steeper. Those who do not have anything to lose are actually better in managing their funds than those who constantly worry about their investments.

Forex trading, when you look at it, is actually very simple. You just need to make sure that you are ready for it. You can do this by reading up about it and determining what your risks will be should you invest. That way, you will be better prepared for any eventualities.

Trading Forex - Is NZD Ready For a Rally?

By Mike Kulej

Over last few years we have witnessed historic drop in US dollar. Many currencies found themselves in a prolonged up trend, some of them reaching dizzying levels. Most notable has been Euro, which moved into all time high of over 1.6000. Canadian dollar also visited never before seen levels. Most remaining major currencies staged very impressive runs of their own. One of them was New Zealand dollar.

NZD, also known as "Kiwi" experienced perhaps the most telling rally of them all. Between 2001 and early 2008 it moved 0.4000 to 0.8200, effectively doubling in value against USD. We don't see something like this often, certainly not among currencies of major, established economies. Very impressive.

Earlier this year USD started to regain some strength. While eventually dollar gained ground on all currencies, NZD was the first one to exhibit weakness and turn. This happened in spite of having the highest interest rates in the developed world. According to some, they were the leading reason in Kiwi's earlier rise. By the time Reserve Bank of New Zealand cut rates for the first time in 5 years, NZD-USD had already lost 700 pips. That was in July.

Since then NZD experience continued fall. Being one of the so called "commodities currencies", it got under pressure when raw materials prices started to fall. After that economic news from coming from Auckland went from bad to worse: rising inflation and unemployment, huge slow down in house sales, loss of consumer confidence, etc,. List can go on and on.

By the time RBNZ was cutting rates again on September 11th, New Zealand dollar fell over 1700 to just under 0.6500. In a rather surprising move, the rates were lowered by 0.50% as opposed to expected 0.25%. Much to the surprise of trading public, this action failed to cause farther drop in NZD. There was a slide lasting couple of hours followed by a sharp rebound.

Is the worst over? While economy of New Zealand has not improved, news from other countries became much worse. It appears there is a world wide economic slow down, if not all out recession. From now on, most of the central banks are expected to be cutting rates. This means, that Kiwi will likely maintain large interest rate differential, making it an attractive instrument for investors seeking above average rates.

Looks like the recent low of 0.6500, will hold for some time. On technical bases, we can expected rally from current levels to perhaps as high as 0.7500. It is very unlikely we will see a very fast, strong move, but rather measured, steady appreciation in NZD-USD, lasting perhaps 6 months or so. Incidentally, that is not going to just against US dollar, but rather broader Kiwi strength.

It must be pointed out, that very long term charts, monthly, are still pointing to lower levels . That is in a little distant future. For now we can expect good size NZD rally, lasting long enough to present decent trading opportunity. In all likely hood, it has already started.

Best Forex Trading Software - Which Style is Best For You - Automated Trading Or Non-Automated?

By Michele Foran

These days many traders are using specific Forex trading software to save time researching their trades and eliminate risk. They also use this software to help them eliminate the two deadly sins: greed and fear. Forex trading software can help you achieve your goals of becoming a successful Forex trader but there are some things you need to know before you purchase any Forex software.

There are two styles of Forex trading software: those that give trading signals and those that automatically place trades for you.

The first style of Forex trading software is automatic. This software not only gives the best entry and exit signals but it places the trades and closes them automatically for you. You don't have to be in front of the computer all day or all night. You simply check your trading account whenever you want to see how much profit you have made.

The second style of Forex trading software is non-automatic but rather it sends you entry and exit signals. With this type of software you are in total control of your trades. So you will need to be in front of your computer to take advantage of the signals, place the trade and monitor it. If you are the type of trader that likes hands-on trading and have the time during the day or evening to trade this way then this is the type of software that will suit your personality and you will thoroughly enjoy being there in the moment as you make your profits.

The automatic software is superior in my experience because you not only get the same great trades as the software that only gives you signals but it works on it's own. You don't have to sit around wondering when things are going to happen. The software does that for you.

My personality is more suited to wanting to "set it and forget it" so automated is the way to satisfy my trading style. But both types of software can deliver the goods.

If you are new to trading in the Forex market or just need a little boost to improve your current trading automated is the way to go because it will increase your chances of catching the best entry and exit points at any time of the day or night whether you are free to watch the trading screen or you are too busy to do so.

Just be mindful that both trading systems have records of providing over 90% winning trades on average so it is totally up to your particular trading style which one to go with. That is what you have to take into consideration before buying the software. Ask yourself what you are most comfortable with.

News Profiteer Review

By Mart Turku

Henry Liu is not a savant by the regular definition books of Forex trading, He has never traded for any bank, or directly even for a trader but he has smartly panned out his Forex trading ideas in a way that it is helping many retail Forex traders get the best out of their business. His news profiteer system bases itself on fundamental news releases. He tries and sees the entire Forex trading through different eyes. According to him there is always the technical angle present to a trader. It makes him evaluate various lines of market trends, and candlestick charts. Further there are the Fibonacci retracements to consider. The technical angles though, do not prepare a trader for few market uncertainties. There is also the mental angle, one which lets a trader gain a toehold on associated baits of money which results in excess greed and fear.

Henry Liu believes that the entire trading market with all its experience miss out on a very precious dictum. It is thought about a hundred thousand times but trade pundits deliberately give it a miss. It is fundamental news trading. Henry Liu, in his newsletter tries to give such fundamentally tradable news and his neutral views on their impact. According to him market impact of such news is unexpectedly high and yet the boardroom dividend declarations and important mergers get a miss in the trader's book. So Liu in his news profiteer review gives all neutral review on tradable news, those which have a high impact on market and adds details of trade inclusive of time of news release, related figures and course of action after the new is out; whether it is time to sell or buy.

In his e-book he prescribes great ways to always remain on the better flank of the system and generate as many as 25-30 pips per trade. The news profiteer system aims to eliminate the inconsistency gradient associated with trading and effectively does so. People especially love it when Henry Liu focuses on a number lesser or greater than the amount of pips. It is then that his erudition in the field comes to the fore. He can trade London, he can trade Nikkei and within any possible timeframe. The good part is, through his news profiteer review he lets us trade as well and profit from it. 25-30 pips per trade are no mean business and it is all possible by paying heed to fundamental news releases.

Henry Liu suggests that there are two kinds of traders; those who learn all the technical jargon of the subjects and understand its execution. Such people grace forums and online trade rooms but there is never enough shekels in there live accounts. Others who only understand the theory of rally and correction, support and resistance but learn the effect of fundamental news on world Forex trade and end up being the eventual winners. News profiteer helps you get the best knowledge of market cycles, precise times for entry and exit from the markets and much more. Believe in the power of news release and you will draw shekels you never thought possible.

Forex Trading With Money Management

By Linda J Wainman

Money management is a critical part of trading and will be the difference between winners and losers. In order to make money we have to learn how to manage it.

For those trading a good strategy or system, the traders who use good money management will be those who will succeed, for those traders who are trading the exact same strategy not using good money management will become a statistic of the 95% losing traders. Most traders just do not understand how important the art of money management is. Money management is the most significant part of any trading system, as it represents the amount of money you are going to put on one trade and the risk you are going to take for each trade.

The number one reason new traders fail is not because they are useless, but because they are undercapitalized from the start and don't understand how leverage really works

There are different money management strategies, and they all aim at preserving your balance from high risk exposure.

A really good method of money management, which is used by many professional forex traders, is to use a percentage of your equity as your risk. For instance, if you have an account of $5000 and you decide that 3% is what you are prepared to risk on each trade, then you would use the correct lots and stop loss to achieve this.

The most important factor is to preserve your trading account, so why would you take a high risk of losing a large amount of money on each trade? If you are starting out with a $500 account, why would want to risk $100 on every trade?

As your account increases, so your risk can increase, and if your account decreases in size then you would decrease your risk. While decreasing the lot size when you are experiencing losses, minimizes the chance of you wiping out your equity. Conversely, by progressively increasing the lot size when you are profitable, your equity compounds.

Obviously, by using a small risk on each trade your profits will be smaller too, but there is no return at all without some risk. Those who care about building their account up slowly will be those who succeed at the end of the day.

While mastering the money management side of your trading, another extremely important aspect of trading is mastering your emotions. Controlling your emotions in forex trading is made much easier if you do not have to worry unnecessarily about losses. In other words, fear of loss.

If you start your forex trading off with an amount of equity, not meant for food or rent, and you trade with low risk, you will not worry if you take a couple of losses in a row.

Be confident in your trading strategy, trade with a small percentage of your equity, do not be greedy, and you will succeed.

Forex Trading - The 5 Main Reasons 95% of Traders Fail to Win Avoid These Mistakes!

By Kelly Price

If you want to win at forex trading and enter the elite 5% who make big gains you need to understand and avoid the reasons 95% of traders lose. Let's look at them...

1. Following Experts

Anyone can claim their an expert and they do. These vendors peddle sure fire systems with meaningless simulated back tests which they present as evidence they can make money (odd, as they know all the closing prices when they make the track record up!) the greedy trader believes them, gets spanked in the market and wonders why.

A simulation back on paper is not the same as trading not knowing the closing price! You don't get rich without effort in forex trading and you need to take responsibility for your actions.

2. Bad Methodology

Here come the myths! Traders believe the ones below and they all show a complete lack of understanding of how and why forex prices move. Here are just a few:

- Markets move to a mathematical formula and can be predicted

- You can trade breaking news

- You can win if you work hard

- You can win if you're clever

- Complicated forex trading strategies beat simple ones

- Buy low sell high is the way to make money

- You can day trade and win

The list goes on and on but all the above believes are wrong and won't give you success.

3. Lack Of Confidence

Most traders lack confidence and as we have seen earlier follow others or simply shoot from the hip when they trade, without knowing the basics and therefore lack confidence. If you want to win, you need to have rock solid confidence, as without it, you will never have the next trait which is critical to forex trading success.

4. Lack of Discipline

Of course you need a sound logical forex trading system however you also need the discipline to apply it. If you don't have the discipline to execute your trading signals in line with the rules of your system - you will lose.

Discipline is needed because you are going to face a period of losses ( all systems do) and you are going to have to keep going, when the market makes you look a fool and hands you losses. You must have the discipline to stay on course until you hit a home run otherwise you may as well not have a system at all.

Discipline is under estimated by traders, because they don't think they will have a period of losses (dream on!) but all traders do and staying on course is hard. Anyone who says it's easy hasn't traded! Sure you can win - but you must cheerfully trade through these periods.

5. Over Leverage and Poor Money Management

Most traders stand no chance from the start as they over leverage. 200:1 is standard and I have even seen 700:1 but this should not all be used 10:1 is plenty for most traders. Most traders however use as much as they can and blow their accounts out the water. Over leverage wipes out more traders than any other reason.

On the other hand there are a group of traders who try so hard to restrict risk they create it. They can place initial stops but they have a tendency to move stops too quickly and try and lock in profits to soon. Stops go within areas of random volatility and they get stopped out. They could have had a big profit but they didn't do what is necessary to take it.

Final Words

Forex trading looks easy but of course its not and why would it be when the rewards are so big? If you accept you have to have the willingness to learn and apply yourself with discipline, your efforts will be well rewarded.

Forex Automated Software - Why Do They NEVER Produce the Gains They Claim When You Trade Them?

By Kelly Price

You have seen the ads $100 get you an income for life 90% accuracy and you get financial freedom and never have to worry again however the reality is very different for one specific reason...

The track records look great but there not real and that's the catch.

It always seems odd to me, someone can claim they can make you money, when the only evidence they have is a simulated track record on past data.

Let me ask you Question:

I am going to give you all the data for say the last 10 years, so you know EXACTLY what prices have done. Now go and execute trading signals and buy and sell wherever you wish and see if you can make a profit - Could you do that?

Sure you could, anyone could - but the problem is, in the real world you DON'T know the price in advance and of course trading then is much harder.

It's hard to believe that people take these track records seriously but they do. Normal sensible, people, n everyday life, let their greed get the better of them and fall for the clever copy, buy the system and then they get taught some manners by the market.

The systems may sound convincing but if everyone could get 7 figure income profits for an outlay of a night down the bar, no one would work and everyone would be a trader.

So if you are thinking of investing $100 or so in a forex trading system with a simulated track record, take my advice - spend the money up the bar, at least you will get some enjoyment for your investment.

You Can Make Money Though!

Of course you can but like in all areas of life where there are big gains to be made you need to put in some effort.

You need to learn the basics and get confidence in what you are doing. Forex trading offers incredible rewards for people who are prepared to work hard, so get the right forex education, be sensible and you could make a lot of money.

You get nothing in life unless you put in effort and no expert forex trading advisor is going to lead you to riches. Ignore the hype, do the work you need to and enjoy currency trading success.
